Rarity Personality Type – MBTI

We are looking into the personality type of Rarity, the My Little Pony character, using the Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI). What characteristics and personality traits does she have?

Rarity is a unicorn pony, and a popular main character in the cartoon show MY Little Pony.

Rarity Personality Type – MBTI

Rarity is an ENFJ personality type. She is very caring and compassionate, and she has a great ability for empathy, to sense and feel the emotions of others. She will try and make sure that there is enough to go around, and that nobody is left out. She has a strong interest in people and their relationships.

Rarity is very friendly, approachable and talkative. She is naturally a very positive and likable character. She often leads with her intuition, so Rarity is often led around by her gut feelings, or sixth sense as it’s sometimes called.

Rarity is also highly moral and altruistic. This means she is often selfless, often putting the needs of others before her own. She wishes for everybody to be happy, and for everybody to get along. Rarity also highly values trust, she will keep to her word, and she values others that also keep to their word and promises.

Rarity is likely to be creative, for example, writing and enjoying music and poetry.

Rarity is so strong with her emotions and sense of compassion that she can struggle with being rational and logical. Some of her views will not be very realistic. She may also struggle with practical tasks. Because she is so focused on others, she may neglect her own needs and wants.
