Benefits of AI & Why I Welcome it?
What are the good aspects and benefits of artificial intelligence (AI), and why I welcome it, and why it makes me excited about humanity’s future?

Why is AI Beneficial for Humanity?
Benefits of AI in the medical world and healthcare
Faster and More Accurate Diagnostics. AI excels at analyzing vast amounts of medical data, including images, scans, and patient records, often outperforming or matching human experts in speed and precision. In radiology, AI tools prioritize scans, detect abnormalities, for example, fractures, polyps in colonoscopies, or early signs of disease in EKGs/MRIs scans, and flag critical findings for quicker attention.
This leads to earlier detection of conditions like cancer, cardiovascular issues, or neurological disorders, improving outcomes through timely intervention.
AI also reduces diagnostic errors, supports real-time reporting such as nearly complete radiology drafts, and it enables predictive insights for patient deterioration.
AI advantages in scientific discovery
Artificial intelligence (AI) is revolutionizing scientific discovery in 2026, acting as a powerful collaborator that accelerates research across biology, chemistry, physics, materials science, mathematics, and beyond. By handling massive datasets, generating hypotheses, predicting outcomes, and even suggesting novel experiments, AI compresses timelines from years to months or sometimes even weeks while enabling breakthroughs that were once thought impossible.
AI benefits economic global economy
Artificial intelligence (AI) is delivering massive economic benefits to the global economy in 2026, serving as a powerful engine for growth, productivity, and innovation. As of February 2026, we’re seeing AI transition from simply hype to making a tangible impact. Massive infrastructure investments are fuelling GDP gains, while broader adoption across industries promises sustained productivity boosts and trillions in added value over the coming decade.
AI isn’t just a tech trend; it’s a transformative force multiplier that’s expanding the economic pie, creating wealth, and enabling more efficient resource use worldwide.
Priority for truth and rationality
One thing that is very obvious is, generally, people are not rational, and are not motivated to seek the truth. Rather, they seek social status, popularity, and generally self-interest. Not to mention, people are subjected to and limited by cognitive biases, ego gratification, and a whole range of psychological issues. I believe this is a big cause of many of the problems that we have in our societies. Why wars happen, crimes against humanity, and political divides.
Artificial intelligence, potentially, will not have biases, or be motivated by self-interest. Therefore, it will be immune to corruption, cruelty, and ego. It could potentially be motivated by progress, by medical and scientific advancement. Therefore, making the lives of humans better, and perhaps humans themselves will become more motivated by personal growth and advancement.
One thing seems certain to me: humans cause great harm to their environment, to other people, and even themselves. Many people are concerned that AI will cause great harm to the human race, even causing an extinction event. However, based on history and current events, I’m more concerned with human irrationality.
Maybe it’s time to outsource all important decisions and control to something that has the ability to be rational.
