Adversity comes in different levels of seriousness, if you compare your problems with those who suffer with more extreme adversity it may help to see your own issues in a less serious light. All you have to do is turn on the TV and watch the news to find some stories about people that are facing greater problems.

Tell your close friends and family about your issues, there is a very good chance that they have been through a similar situation. They may be able to support you and give you advice on how they dealt with their adversity.
